Bronze medal winning Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock has been announced as an ambassador for the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) Charity's redevelopment appeal.
The athlete, who'll be competing in the Commonwealth Games, has joined the appeal to help raise £15m to pay for additional facilities and equipment for the hospital, which is currently undergoing a £90m redevelopment. Whitlock said 'It is a great honour to be representing the charity's appeal and I am excited to do all I can to help raise its profile. It's a very special hospital and I'm looking forward to working more closely with the charity'.
